Classic Ford Bronco project build
Early on The Lot

Proof, not promises.

  • Verified before action

Phone, email, and card on file before a live bid or auction open.

  • Documented builds

Window Sticker, build updates, and structured project details — not five photos and a prayer.

  • Live on The Lot

Shops post progress in the open feed. That's the proof strip — real activity, early community.

  • Private until close

Ask in public Q&A before the hammer. Buyer and seller contact details become available after the auction ends.

Launch Price

Your floor, not a wish

Your Launch Price is what you'll let the project go for when you Send It. Once interest hits your goal, verified buyers can open a 72-hour auction at that floor.

Interest

Interest has to build first

You don't Send It until the interest goal is met. That threshold filters tire-kickers: only builds with enough verified interest hit the open market.

Auction opens

First verified buyer opens the clock

After you Send It for sale, followers get notified. The first verified buyer to start the auction locks the Launch Price as the opening bid and starts the 72-hour clock.

Alerts

Interested buyers get notified

When you list for sale, buyers following the build get email and push — then a verified buyer can open the auction at your floor.

More than a marketplace.

Send It Auction

Send It is the price you’ll let it go for. Hit your goal and list for sale — then a verified buyer can open a 72-hour auction at that floor.

05
Complete the Sale

Payment, fees, and handoff when the hammer falls.

Most builds gather interest over days or weeks. When the seller Lists for sale and a verified buyer opens the auction at the Launch Price, a 72-hour auction begins.

Title & VIN

How it's titled — and the VIN

Clean, salvage, or rebuilt, plus the VIN on record. Buyers confirm the real title status and vehicle identity before they show interest or bid.

Drivetrain

Engine, transmission & driveline

What's under it — engine, transmission, and drivetrain spec, each marked not started, in progress, or done. No guessing what's swapped or finished.

Known issues

What's broken, upfront

Faults, damage, and the work still needed — disclosed before the sale, not surprises after the hammer falls.

Parts in / out

What's included — and what's not

New and upgraded parts that are in the build, plus anything removed or still missing. Buyers know exactly what comes with the car.

Receipts

Money in, documented

Seller-disclosed receipts and invoices for parts and labor. Helps buyers understand the real investment and scope — not a price guarantee.

Running / driving

Does it run and drive?

The current state on the record — runs, drives, rolls, or project-only. Buyers know exactly what they're getting before they bid.

  • Sellers verify phone and email during signup
  • Verified buyers only
  • Card on file required before bidding
  • Buyer and seller contact details remain private until the auction ends — use public Q&A before then, or Messages for marketplace listings

Our story

Built by a garage. For garages.

Sell My Project was built by RustyK5 — a group of weekend warriors who love a good project, good friends, and a weekend in the shop. We built this for everyone with a passion for turning wrenches and getting their hands dirty.

“Some builds run out of money. Some run out of weekends. Some run out of life. All of them deserve a finish line.”
