Platform fees are separate from the vehicle price. We do not collect, hold, or escrow the vehicle purchase funds — the buyer pays the seller directly using a method both agree on.
1. How a classified close is charged
On a project for sale the seller pays $0 — no listing fee, no commission. The buyer pays 5% of the confirmed sale number, charged when the seller Accepts, maximum $5,000. A deal closed off the site is $0.
- A buyer either takes the listing at the seller's ask (I'll take it), or chooses “Suggest a price privately” and types a different number. The seller says yes or no.
- The fee is 5% of the number the seller Accepted — not the original ask — and it is charged to the buyer's card on file at that moment. Nothing is charged before the seller Accepts.
- The car money never touches us. The buyer pays the seller directly, the way they both agree.
- If the two of you close the deal in a driveway instead of through the site, there is no fee at all.
2. Buyer fee examples
Buyer fee = 5% of the confirmed sale number, maximum $5,000. Totals below assume the seller Accepted at the listed number.

3. What we don't charge
- No fee to create a Garage or browse builds.
- No seller commission — seller fee is $0, forever.
- No buyer fee unless a sale actually closes through the site — browsing, talking, and getting turned down are free.
- No fee on a deal you close off the site. That is $0.
- No platform escrow of vehicle purchase funds between buyer and seller.
